Mary grew up in poverty. She was a migrant worker growing up, facing numerous challenges throughout her childhood. Despite the odds stacked against her, she never lost sight of her dreams. Determined to create a better life for herself and her family, Mary worked tirelessly, juggling odd jobs while pursuing her education. Recognizing her passion for justice, she landed a full time position as a paralegal at Tamaki Law in 2001. Mary now also manages LJ’s Authentic Seasoning.
